Women's Tennis Receives Championship Banner

Due West, SC – Athletic Director Mark Peeler presented the women’s tennis team their championship banner for their regular season and tournament championships last season during halftime of the women’s basketball game. Erskine has now won the Conference Carolinas regular season and tournament championships for the last five years. The Lady Fleet were 18-7 overall and 11-1 in Conference Carolinas. The team finished ranked #7 in the Southeast region and #33 nationally.
The team also did well in the classroom last year. The women’s tennis was recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team with three players receiving ITA Scholar Athlete honors. To receive these honors, the team must have earned a minimum 3.2 team grade point average while an individual must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average or better.
The student-athletes present from last year’s team were Britton Bignon, Tessa Rheault, Nikki Miller, and Mary Clare Rollins.
