Men's Golf Competes at Saint Andrews Invitational

Laurinburg, NC- Erskine men’s golf finished fourth of four teams this weekend at the Saint Andrews Spring Invitational. Patrick Wilson led the way for the Fleet again as he finished tied for third while shooting rounds of 78 and 75. Erskine finished with a team score of 650.
The Fleet were outlasted this weekend by the University of Montreal, Saint Andrews, and Anderson University. Anderson slipped by Erskine as they took a four stroke lead after the first round. Erskine played them evenly during the second round as each team shot 318, but it was not enough to close the first round deficit.
Brandon Hansen followed Wilson this weekend, shooting rounds of 82 and 79 as he finished tied for eighth place. Ben Sloan finished tied for tenth off rounds of 86 and 77 while Jon Jenkins finished tied for 22nd as he shot 88 and 87. Wade Ramsey shot 86 and 93 finished 25th on the weekend.
Erskine will play again March 15-16 as they head to the Montreat Invitational.
