Erskine Softball Team to Wear Pink This Fall

Due West, SC - The Erskine College Softball Team is planning on wearing Pink on their jerseys this fall in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month according to Head Coach Alleen Hawkins.
“This was actually the players idea”, said Hawkins. “They wanted to do something special this Month, especially since one of our own has lost their mother to Breast Cancer.”
The team will break out their ‘pink’ for the first time this coming weekend in Spartanburg in the Furman Fall Classic, which will be in held in conjunction with the Fall Exposure Tournament at the 296 Sports Complex in Spartanburg.
Erskine will play at 6:00 and 8:00 PM on Friday night, and then at 10:00, 12:00 and 2:00 on Saturday. This tournament will be the first time on the field for the Fleet and will be the first time in an Erskine uniform for the 11 freshman on the roster.
