Local Church Making Impact at Erskine

Due West, SC- The youth Group from Abney Memorial Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC stopped by to pay the Erskine women’s soccer team a visit this past Sunday. The women’s team is entering a very intense time of the season and the youth group wanted to stop by to offer some support an encouragement.
The kids are part of the missions organization at Abney Baptist. This group focuses on reaching out to the community and lifting high the name of Christ in order to encourage any and all who are struggling with the difficulties of life. The youth grouped helped to lift the stresses of daily life off of the team as they encouraged the team to focus on the bigger picture of Christ and His Kingdom.
Erskine Athletics would like to extend many thanks to Abney Memorial Baptist Church for their example of selfless sacrifice as they seek to work for Christ’s Kingdom in this community.
