Fleet Pick up 4th Straight Win on Reppin's Goal in OT

DUE WEST- The Eskine men's soccer team picked up their 4th straight win as they defeated North Greenville 2-1 Wednesday night in overtime at Huggins Field. Erskine freshman Florian Reppin (Bremen, Germany) scored the game-winner with two minutes remaining in the first overtime. Reppin's goal came on a direct kick from fellow freshman Jack Kimber (Manchester, England. The game was tied at 0-0 until the 81st minute when Erskine freshman Matt Sluga (Greer, SC) pounded a left footer up into the left corner of the net. North Greenville responded at 85:12 on a goal by Jonathan Restrapo on an assist from Markus Krall to complete regulation at 1-1 setting up Reppin's heroics. Erskine improves to 5-8-2 on the season. The Fleet play at home on Saturday at 3:00 pm in a homecoming contest against Mt. Olive. A win virtually assures the Fleet a spot in the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
