DUE WEST-- The Erskine women's soccer team dropped their second straight 1-0 decision on Tuesday night losing to USCA-Aiken at Huggins Field. The Pacers got all the goals they needed at 18:10 on Alie Brady's shot on a pass from Maria Frontroth. The game was evenly battled but Aiken managed to get off 14 shots while Erskine managed only 6. Erskine freshman goalie Paige Martz (Woodbine, GA) made six save son the afternoon.
Erskine drops to 6-9 with their 3rd straight one-goal loss. The Fleet will host Mt. Olive Saturday for Homecoming in a huge conference match. Erskine is currently 5-4 in Conference Carolinas play and a win could possibly secure the Fleet home-field advantage in round 1 of the post-season tournament.
