Erskine College Athletics

Erskine College is excited to announce the 1^st ever “Golf Preview Weekend” on November 2^nd and 3^rd.  These two days will be geared towards introducing prospective golf student-athletes and their families to the Erskine Experience.  The weekend will include a campus tour, an exhibition basketball game, and a tour of Hunter’s Creek (our home golf course).  The Erskine men’s basketball team has an exhibition game on Friday, November 2^nd against the Kazakhstan National Team at 7:00 p.m. that will present prospects with a view of the Erskine environment.  Prospective golfers will be housed Friday night in the dormitories with a host student.  Saturday, which is also “Parents Day” at Erskine College, will include the campus tour and van rides to Hunter’s Creek.  This Preview Weekend is an excellent opportunity for prospects and their familes to get to know Erskine College, which was recently ranked 2^nd by U.S. News and World Report among baccalaureate colleges in the south. 

Please let us know if you do or do not plan to attend by October 29, 2007.    This event will count as an official campus visit; in other words, all meals and housing for the prospective golfer will be provided.  To make an official visit, you must be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse (https://www.ncaaclearinghouse.net/NCAA/student/index_student.html)and have taken the SAT or ACT at least once.  You can contact Drew Wallace via email (dwallace@erskine.edu) or by phone, (864) 379-8706, to RSVP or if you have any questions.
