The Erskine College Athletic Training Department exists to provide the best available medical care to the student-athletes of Erskine College. In doing this, we will strive to exemplify and glorify Christ in all we do.
The Sports Medicine Team
Services are provided by Certified Athletic Trainers, General and Internal Medicine Physicians, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Dentists, Optometrists, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Athletic Training Students.

Adam enters his fourth year at Erskine College. He received his
B.S. in Sports Medicine from Erskine and an M.Ed. in Exercise
Science with a Biomechanics concentration from Auburn
University. Adam is a member of the National Athletic Trainers'
Association and is certified by the Board of Certification. Adam
resides in Due West with his wife Ashley and their sons
Matthew (5) and Daniel (1).

Scott enters his second year at Erskine College. He received
his B.S. in Sports Medicine from Erskine and an M.S. in
Kinesiology and Health Promotion with an emphasis in
Biomechanics from The University of Kentucky. He also
serves as the chair of the public relations committee for
the South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association. Scott is
single and resides in Belton, SC.

Jason enters his third year at Erskine College. He
received his B.S. in Athletic Training from Erskine and an M.S. in
Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania.
He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association,
and certified by the Board of Certification. Jason is single and
resides in Due West, and serves as a firefighter and first
responder with Due West Fire & Rescue.

Prospective Athletic Training Students
Erskine College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), and houses an Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP). Athletic Training Students are provided with many opportunities for hands-on experiences through Erskine College Athletics. Students may also visit campus and spend a day along side our staff, covering Erskine College Athletic Events. High School Athletic Training Summer Camp
The Erskine College Athletic Training staff hosts a summer camp for high school student athletic trainers who wish to further their knowledge and get an insight into athletic training education and the athletic training profession.

Monday-Friday 12:30 PM-6:00 PM
*Treatments/taping for in-season practices
scheduled outside of these hours will begin
one hour before the training session.
*Treatments must begin within 30-minutes
of the end of training sessions.

Visiting Team Information
Treatments and Taping
The Erskine Athletic Training Center will be available 2 hours before start time for all home contests. If your team will be requiring the use of our facility,
please contact us in advance of your trip so adequate preparations may be made concerning treatment times. The following items are available for use by visiting teams traveling with an ATC:
*Hydrocollator
*Crushed Ice
*Electrical Stimulation
*Ultrasound
*Low Level Laser Therapy
*BioCryo Compression System
*Stationary Bike
*Slant board
*Other rehab equipment as requested.
Teams Traveling Without a Certified Athletic Trainer
If your team will be traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer, we are happy to accommodate and treat any players needing services. We ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance regarding these treatments, as well as send a treatment letter and needed supplies with your specific team. Please limit treatments to heat, ice, and taping.
On-Field Setup
Emergency Medical Service crews, provided by Abbeville County Emergency Management, are located within minutes of all Erskine College Athletic Facilities.
