DUE WEST--   Erskine College Director of Athletics and Head Men's Basketball Coach Mark Peeler has been appointed to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee  for a four-year term beginning September 1st. The purpose of the committee is to develop policies and procedures governing the administration and conduct of the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championships. The eight-member committee is comprised of one representative from each of the eight Division II regions across the country. Peeler will chair and represent the newly formed South Atlantic Region consisting primarily of three Division II conferences-  Conference Carolinas, the South Atlantic Conference, and the Peach Belt Conference.

Peeler will begin his 10th season as Erskine men's basketball coach and fifth year in the dual role as director of athletics.
