Due West, SC---Following a record breaking season that has seen the Flying Fleet start off 23-0 and finish with a school record 44 wins, Erskine has been selected to compete in the NCAA South Atlantic Regional for the first time in school history. The tournament will begin Thursday May 15 in Mount Olive, NC and the Fleet will be the #6 seed and face #1 seed and the number one team in the country Mount Olive Trojans at 7:00 pm. The winner of the South Atlantic Regional joins the other seven regional champions at the national finals May 24-31 at Sauget, Ill. Thursdays first round gets underway at 11 a.m. as No. 3 seed USC Aiken takes on No. 4 seed North Georgia, followed by No. 2 seed Columbus State vs. No. 5 seed Belmont Abbey.
